The Duffer
I’m Nish, I’ve played golf, mostly badly since I was 14 years old at the local driving range with my dad’s really old Slazenger blades!
My golf is mainly a very limited highlights reel, puncutated with a lot of awful golf, but i LOVE being out there
I’ve managed to tick a few things off my golfing bucketlist but this is the biggest challenge yet

I’m Chris, I came up with the Top 100 courses in 10 years idea!
In years gone by, I used to play for England at U16 level, but fell out of love with golf when I became obsessed with lowering my handicap.
Now, I just love playing for the fun of it and it helps when you’re playing with Nish, who isn’t very good!

Every good story needs a villain, is it fair to say I’m the villain in the piece?
No, but that’s what we’re going with. I’m here to question everything, trust neither of them and test their assumptions. I’m here to put the questions to them that other’s won’t ask. Test out their theories, and generally play devil’s advocate to their plans.

How We Started
It all started on a drunken Saturday night in Nish's kitchen, when Chris said... "I've got an idea..."
What you can expect
An amusing guide to some of the most celebrated golf courses on our fair isles, if not the world
Some of you may play one of these courses as a once-in-a-lifetime treat. Our goal is to give you a duffers’ eye reveiw of the courses, including what you can expect on the day.
We take a less serious road on our reviews, and want you to live it through us.
Our Rules
We want to enjoy the journey, so we stick to these rules
I.
No on-course filming
We’re playing some of the most iconic golf courses in the world, and we may only get 1 chance at most of them, so for us, it’s about enjoying the moment and soaking it all in.
But we’ll happily take any snaps of any highlights along the way

Fun episodes
The journey is personal, and we want to share it, but we also want to keep it fun and relatable.
Keeping it funny and irreverent makes it fun for us too

Our lives are important
We’re both fathers to 2 wonderful kids each, we’re husbands and we have day jobs.
We want this to be part of our lives, but not all of our lives (the golf will take up enough time)
So, please forgive us if life gets in the way on the odd occasion
